FKA Twigs Vinyl Package

FKA Twigs is an indie/ R&B singer with a very distinct sound. Since her music is so soulful, I felt using curved lines to create the faces of two people kissing, while incorporating the artist name within the face would be a good representation. This is drawing parallels between some of the lyrics of her songs as though her whole album focuses on bringing attention to her emotions associated with personal relationships.

This illustrative visual portrays the essence of her album in a straightforward concept. I think it would affect the audience in a positive way, as some may relate to what she is going through. If not, they will be intrigued to hear how her music expresses her emotions and dilemmas in a relationship. Overall, I wanted to show FKA Twigs’ soulful sound by hand drawing curved lines on the front and back of the LP package.
